3. When we checked out I requested to speak to the general manager of the hotel, I was told he wasn't at work today (you would think that with a major problem in the hotel like no running water the general manager might want to show up).

4. We only had a view of another building, but our room was very quiet so we did not have a problem with the room noise others have mentioned (floor six).

5. The only slight problem was the receptionist who would not believe I was not called John even though I am female and even though I had a booking confirmation printed out in my own name.
