1. And worst for me was the outlet in the bathroom sparked and zapped my hair dryer (a relatively new $150 model.

We travelled with Virgin Holidays and this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in when I have booked with Virgin, if you have the unfortunately to be booked in here, if they try to put you in the annex, just refuse to move from the reception and demand a room in the actual hotel, believe me you will thank me for it.
