1. Would agree it's a little expensive but from our research it was in line with other hotels in San Francisco so not sure that's something that can be avoided.

4. The only downside, and it is with most of the hotels in San Fran, parking is very expensive in the hotel car parks - this one as a minimum of $40 per night - however there is ample on street parking around the hotel - which is free between 6pm and 8am.
