1. avoid the 1st floor, it will be loud at night.

3. Would agree it's a little expensive but from our research it was in line with other hotels in San Francisco so not sure that's something that can be avoided.

4. The main reason for choosing was the location - at the heart of Fishermans Wharf - very good transport - at the end of the F line and the Hyde - Powell Hyde Beach Cable Cars (suggest you go early to Hyde - Beach line to avoid queue and to get best seats).

5. I would suggest avoiding Denny's on site as the prices they charge are offensive compared to any other Denny's.

7. Try to avoid bringing a car to San Francisco.

8. The downside was that you should avoid rooms on the east side (Leavenworth St) and probably south side of the hotel as they are quite noisy with rock music until midnight from the nearby Cannery and alternate day street cleaning with vacuum trucks around 4am.

9. There was some street parking available at night, so you could possibly get a spot and avoid their $45 garage fee.

10. If possible try to avoid a room on the back alley as it can be a bit noisy.
