1. The first issue we had was when we arrived, I went to put a bottle of water in the mini-fridge and it was full of left over food from a previous guest.

2. Had an issue with pigeons in the room when we got back on night ( window was shut, 2 pigeons inside room, feathers and poop on carpet???) how did they get in if the window was shut? mystery.

3. The room had small wear and tear issues like wall scuff marks, the desk chair seat was slightly torn, the carpet was frayed a little around the edges, etc.

4. my shower leaked so had to put extra towels on the floor but it was nice to look at - at home this would bother me - in a hotel no issue really.

6. We don't normally stay at large hotels, but were able to get the personal attention we like and had no issues with crowds of business people there for seminars.

7. The bartenders at the Eclipse had some issue with the english language.

8. I was on the 8th floor facing the bay, so noise from traffic was negligible, but it seems like it is an issue for other folks.

9. It is not cheap, but most similarly rated hotels are about the same price (or more expensive), and if your expenses are covered this will not be as much of an issue.

10. My room wasn't cleaned the day after I arrived (I was out of my room at 630 AM, so no issue with not having access to it).
