1. The charge is about 10$ for in room internet connection and the reception in my room was extremely poor and random.

2. ' The thing is, if they would've said 'we're totally swamped because of the groupon' or 'we've been granting late check-outs for days because of poor service' and then told us directly that we wouldn't be able to check in until four or even later, my wife and I would not have cared.

3. The wall paper was peeling off, the bathrooms needed some refurbishment, the carpet in our room had burn holes in it, paint was chipping off and the beds were very poor quality.

Most of the rooms are a bit small by today's standards (the building dates from the 1920's), and most of them have a poor/boring view, but don't forget, the fabulous city of Chicago is outside - so what are you doing in the hotel room trying to look out the window?Location is superb, hard to beat at any price.

5. There was no tea/coffee making facilities which I thought was poor also the walls are paper thin and you can clearly hear the conversations going on next door.
