1. The shower had soap scum on the walls, the grout was dirty, and the sinks hadn't been cleaned out.

2. The carpet in the hallway was even dingier and shabbier, and chest-high piles of bagged trash and dirty linens blocked the narrow passageways for the majority of the day and night - along with trays filled with half-eaten food.

The heater/ac was very loud, a large gap under the door, where the light shown through all night, and an extremely small bathroom with dirty grout, a couple pubic hairs or two, and cheap, crooked towel bars that looked like they had been knocked off the walls several times, probably considering the very limited space.

Some decor in the room was a little jaded, and the carpet looked discoloured and dirty, but I know the room was cleaned to a high standard daily/Hotel was busy with conference delegates, so didn't use the restaurant other than for breakfast on the last day - seemed good value and quality though.

8. I also didn't appreciate the squished bugs on the ridged wallpaper, the kleenex box with three kleenex left in it (never replaced once there were no kleenex left), the dirty cushion they kept placing on the (I hope) clean sheets of the bed each day, and so on and so on.
