3. If you fancy old style European hotels--ie somewhat dated tiny rooms with minute bathrooms and tiny elevators, then you will love the Allerton.

Most of the rooms are a bit small by today's standards (the building dates from the 1920's), and most of them have a poor/boring view, but don't forget, the fabulous city of Chicago is outside - so what are you doing in the hotel room trying to look out the window?Location is superb, hard to beat at any price.
