1. It does allow more noise out of the bathroom than normal, and I'm sure some people find that awkward, but with my kids there's no such thing as privacy anyway.
"Great stay with family with young kids " Read full review on TripAdvisor   2/21/2012 Vote
2. If I was sharing a room with a non-family member, especially if sharing with a business associate, it might be a bit awkward.
"Very nice " Read full review on TripAdvisor   2/20/2012 Vote
3. The hotel staff was amazing and never once did anyone make us feel awkward about having our son with us - they actually helped very often with making traveling with him a little easier (a few names that we collected that were exceptionally helpful: Nicholas Baes, Amy Miller, Robert Shumate, Ashley Sarpong).
"wonderful hotel, wonderful city " Read full review on TripAdvisor   1/31/2012 Vote
4. The bathroom had this odd wooden window, so it may be awkward if you aren't sharing the bathroom with someone you don't hearing you in the bathroom.
"Hip, Nice Hotel " Read full review on TripAdvisor   8/11/2011 Vote
5. The bathroom is outdated and awkward.
"Great location but in need of major updating " Read full review on TripAdvisor   8/4/2011 Vote
6. This was fine with me, traveling alone, but if I had been sharing my room with friends, could have been a bit awkward.
"Not my favorite W, but overall a good experience " Read full review on TripAdvisor   6/13/2011 Vote
7. Closet space is strange because clothing storage is in drawers undeneath the closet so you have to awkwardly bend down to get your clothes.
"They had me, then they lost me...literally. But still lots of good amenities and terrific location. " Read full review on TripAdvisor   11/20/2009 Vote
8. The rooms have these awkward plantation shitters that close off the bathroom from the bedroom and unless u r with your husband that is a bit awkward from a privacy perspective.
"The "W" Really Should Be "Club W" Pick Another Hotel " Read full review on TripAdvisor   7/10/2009 Vote
9. If your by yourself or with a significant other then it may not be an issue, but with mixed company it was awkward.
"W- does stand for Whatever, but not Wow! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   1/22/2009 Vote
10. - Rooms are small- Bathroom is awkward with no real enclosure- Walls are super thin (you can hear people merely talking next door)- Customer Service lacks in all areas (I got attitude when I got a simple cup of coffe at the lobby bar, no one greets you when you come and go, employees don`t acknowledge you in the elevator)- Got charged for items that I did not use and then questioned when I disputed them- Didn`t have hot water for a shower (in December mind you)There are SO many other options in Chicago for people to stay and I recommend everyone stay elsewhere but here.
