1. I was in town to attend a conference at a very pricey hotel (which was not worth the additional cost) and I chose to arrive a day early to take advantage of a special rate offered at this hotel.

5. There were plenty of places to shop (the hotel is located one block away from Prada), eat (we had a lovely and pricey dinner at a Mexican rest a few blocks east of the hotel), and visit.

8. You are immediately opposite two fabulous restaurants, Hugo's Frog Bar and Gibsons Steakhouse, both pricey but worth it for the quality of the food.

10. We didn't spend anytime in the restaurant or bar at the hotel (I thought the breakfast was a little pricey, especially since there are so many cute restaurants in the area), but I did take advantage of the late-night room service.
