1. And, of you wanted to use pool/hot tub you had to traipse through first floor lobby area to get there--who wants to walk from 16th floor and back in a wet bathing suit?Housekeeping issue we had was while getting ready in morning (around 7 am) we put out Do Not Disturb sign but when leaving room at 8 am the maid had put sign on door saying they respected our privacy so wouldn't service room unless we called.

4. Breakfast was a little hap hazard, but we found our way around this by always waking early and taking an early breakfast if we wanted full cooked to order, so no real issues.

5. She didn't really seem concerned with me or the issues we experienced, and my husband would have never said a word no matter how unhappy he was, so I spoke up.

6. Feel as though we could have had less maintenance issues, a dedicated concierge agent to help us with things we wanted to see in Chicago, and not been burnt by hot water while showering.

7. The remote control to the living area TV did not operate at all, and maintenance said they fixed it, but the same night, we had the same issues.

10. Other than the deferred maintenance issues behind the scenes, I thought that the Embassy Suites was a beautiful hotel in a good downtown hotel.
