Although it did rain and storm every day and night we were there, including the worst flooding the island and Hanalei has seen in over twenty years, and high surf warnings all over, we still enjoyed our stay and were very happy with our ground floor unit in the Bougainvillea Building, because we could walk out to the waterfall pool and spa anytime we wanted.

4. worst of all, Princeville is a sterile, lifeless community built on pristine land, with a big ugly golf course, the chemicals from which are killing off the reef in Hanalei Bay.
