2. When we staid in Hanalei Bay Resort unfortunately the Happy Talk Lounge and Bali Hai Restaurant were still closed due to a fire, but once they are open again this resort, if you stay in a nice unit, is hard to beat.

3. Although we didn't end up making time for tennis (hard to pass up the opportunity for all that beach time), there are plenty of courts available.

4. Lot's of nighttime noise from the propane powered putt-putt security vehicles made it hard to sleep at night.

6. While it's hard to find any area of Kauai that is not glorious, I would have to say the north has more to offer as far as beauty and beaches go.
