1. There are a few cons to take into consideration if it's your first time and you have a particular type of vacation in mind: 1) the food is extremely expensive (like $18 for chips and salsa at the pool) and there are very few nice restaurants close to the resort and none within walking distance; 2) the resort is very secluded and is about 45 minutes from Poipu, where many other resorts and restaurants are; 3) the beach is very small and the view of the water is better than the actual swimming in the ocean in front of the resort.
