1. There was some noise in the hotel, mysterious bumps and bangs that could be heard in the room, not too loud.

2. I'm not certain why but I could hear the elevators all night, my room was no where near this area but they are either pretty loud or there is no insulation in the building as you could hear them move through the shaft and stop at floors.
