1. To my surprise, about 20 minutes later room service was at my door with some chocolates and a cheese plate sent up from the manager with a hand-written note to apologize for my inconvenience - I thought that was quite nice and not expected.

4. Someone should have stepped up to make something happen as this is a major inconvenience and resulted in delays each time I needed to enter the room (one time 15 minute delay for bellman).
