3. We love to walk along Shelter Island's Shoreside Park - the view includes downtown, Coronado Island, Point Loma, navy ships and cruise ships and an abundance of beautiful sailing ships.

Absolutely beautiful setting; get away from downtown convention hub-bub just 15 minutes away; yacht basin, military ships passing by; watch fabulous sailboats racing; pool area wonderful; walk along the beautiful harbor; resort restaruant food & service very good; amenities & services have slipped just a bit from our previous stays; we're sure it is the economic times where everyone is watching overhead & it will turn around as economy does.

7. You should not miss seeing LaJolla Caves with all the Sea Lions & Seals, the walk down the shoreline at Sunset is Spectacular.
