2. the hotel's really in a great place, we had thought about staying at the nearby 'W', but we were glad we chose the Grant since it's pretty much walking distance to all the restaurants and bars we planned to visit, plus, since the Grant doesn't have a pool you are welcome to hop over to the W to use their's.

5. We also took advantage of the arrangement with the Westin Gaslamp hotel to use their pool which is only a couple of blocks from the Grant.
