1. The restaurant staff conveniently tried to ignore us when we asked for assistance, although they were quick to clean out the money jar regularly.

4. As far as parking goes, we paid about $30 per day to park at the hotel and it was a bit annoying especially because we rented a car we didn't use for about 2 days and paid so much money for parking.

5. Located one block from the beginning of the Bourbon St nightly madness, this hotel offers charm, huge, clean rooms with 10-12 foot ceilings, and a really great value for the money.

6. We were aware of that before we arrived and checked on other options, but parking is high in the city and for the added convenience of having our car in a relatively 'safe' lot and available to us when we needed it was worth spending the extra money.
