1. Twin patio doors opened out onto separate balconies which was a nice touch but sadly not large enough to incorporate chairs etc.Had breakfast in our room a number of times, pot of coffee which was enough for two plus a couple of mini pastries came to $20.

Service was competent (a previous reviewer noted that there were a surprising lot of bell staff and I have to agree) and the food in the restaurant was just outstanding, everything, from breakfast (where you served a delicious, complimentary mini-smoothie) to lunch (fantastic pizza) to cocktails on the ingenuously designed outdoor patio that almost makes you forget you're at the crossroads of two massive L.

7. I stayed in one of the suites on the top (10th) floor, with great sitting room, floor-to-ceiling windows with fancy electric shade, view of the stylish mall across the street, and even a little outdoor patio area.

8. The bath felt larger due to the large picture window in the shower, looking into the room toward the tv or the patio, that is electronically controlled to be opaque or clear, depending on the wall switch setting.

10. The weather was cool and drizzly, so we did not get to enjoy the outdoor patio, but did take a tour outside and would have loved to enjoy it had the weather been more co-operative.
