1. OK, positives first, the staff were friendly and very helpful at fixing things (explained below), lobby is really nice and the free use of Apple Macs in reception and wireless for free was also quite helpful.

2. Straight across from the hotel's lobby is the Beverley Centre with Macy's, Bloomingdales and plenty of designer shops to browse, there's a good restaurant, The Captial Grille about 2 minutes away and there's plenty of other eateries such as Cafe Luxe, Johnny Rocket's, Corner Bakery nearby plus numerous cafe's if you don't want to eat in the hotel's restaurant.

8. As is usual, Wi-Fi is an extra, however there are 3 apple computers for free in the lobby which satisfied any requirements to surf the web.
