1. The valets were patient and friendly, and the bellhops very helpful getting our gear unloaded and to our rooms (and then loaded back into the car when it was time to leave).

This is an excellent example of this franchise's flagship hotels: easy, rapid, kind, accommodating check-in, concierge and hotel manager/overseer right in the middle of the front lobby, multiple valets, restaurant right up front, excellent and unbiased (conformed with Frommer's ratings) restaurant and other suggestions available, clever names for the bar and the restaurant (actually, the names *are* 'the restaurant' and 'the bar') and nice touches like a free glass of featured wine to preferred members on check-in.

10. Many times the valet would ignore us when we came to pick up our car or when we called down, he would just look straight at us and walk inside.
