1. Carrie gave us a room upgrade with great view of Thomas circle and left strawberries, champagne and a welcome card signed by the staff in our room upon arrival.

2. I was in a '13' room which has a very nice view of the outside/front of the hotel and down the street but the window insulation wasn't very good and it sounded like a car would be driving right through my room.

3. A view of flowers or attractive plants for these upper story windows could take the lobby view from being an odd curiosity to being a truly attractive feature of the hotel.

4. The rooms were nice, we had a king size mattress which was very nice and relaxing, our view was to the inside of the lobby which was nice, but our friends room had a view out into an alley way with a trash compactor, which wasn't pleasant.
