1. I used Priceline and paid $175 each for 2 nights, 2 rooms, which I thought was a good deal during a very busy week in DC (Police Week).

2. Hotels in DC,in general, are expensive at any time of year so look around at the rates at other nearby hotels to see what they charge and if you can make a deal to get the best available rate.

9. Special praise goes to the manager Felix who helped us a great deal when we are leaving the hotel to get to the Newark Airport (which is at least one hour away) as there were some mix-up with the transporation company.
