1. We didn't use any of the hotel facilities other than the free wifi (which is a godsend) but we found it to be a perfect base.

2. The room was very clean, the TV was brand new, the linens were always fresh (even though we hung them up to be re-used), the bed was comfy, and the free Wifi was fairly fast (just remember that the code changes when the month does).

As part of a two centre holiday to the USA we stayed for 2 nights at the Holiday Inn at Fishermans Wharf, I have to say the hotel was very clean, and excellent rooms, with free WiFi as well which went down well with my son, (our next hotel in Hollywood charged $10 a day), beware that car parking could prove pricey at some $40 a day, but luckily we went with Virgin Holidays and got it half price, Hotel is walking distance to Fishermans Wharf and all it's attractions.
