1. There is a nice heated outdoor pool, although it is small it was clean and offered clean towels poolside.

3. While it was annoying having to haul our luggage across the street initially, the beach st building is closer to fishermans wharf and has a 24hr Denny's on site so I believe that it would probably have been the better of the two unless you wanted to use the pool or park your car.

4. Facilities in the hotel are fairly basic, gym and swimming pool are both small but the laundry facilities were very good.

5. Let us get one thing out of the way it probably is not a poor Holiday Inn if your room is in the main building where the reception area, swimming pool and the better cafe/restaurant are located.

6. Main problem was the noise in the early hours - starting at approx 4am with garbage collections outside and continuing with cleaners bringing trollies ready to start rooms when guests checkout; you might be best asking for a pool view so you don't get the noise.

9. We have also been put in a seperate building, the beach building, the main hotel has a bar, restaurant, pool, gym etc, we have a denny's.

10. We didn't have any problems with noise like some other posters have mentioned, and we were situated in the main building, above the swimming pool.
