The next day my friend complained to reception, I explained that if we had known about this work then we would have chosen a different Hotel if we had known in advance, the response was 'see the

if you have a complaint'.

We notified the hotel that this is not acceptable to us and instead of finding a quick remedy, the guest
manager
told us that the best thing to do is for him to refund our money and for us to find another hotel.

and were told that all rooms were booked and that she would find us a new room the next morning and move us to the building that has easier access to their pool and gym.

I didn't return the key to reception quickly enough because the
manager
took time out from his busy schedule to call me up and scold me for taking too long meaning they couldn't use the room that night but hey, I'd only spent 1500 bucks so who cared if i could sleep or not .

I wanted to show the MOD my bug bites so they could identify the bite marks and get rid of the pest to save future guests the trouble of being bitten there was no
