1. We questioned this fee as we were not told about it when the room was booked and could not understand why we were being charged $85 for a cleaning fee before the dog had made any messes.

3. I found this to be the best value at $72, before taxes and fees in comparison to surrounding accommodations (exclusive of parking fees, since we didn't rent a car, but you really don't need one.

5. The hotel was kind enough to hold our luggage (since we arrived super early for check in), early check in, changed our room to a king size bed (because I accidental ordered 2 double beds), and late check out for no additional fee.

This I a really well located, clean and extremely comfortable hotel which I wouldn't hesitate to use againThe parking fee is as high as it was unexpected, I would assume hotels come with free parking to residents but this is my only niggleThe beds are really comfortable with a choice of pillows and the wonderful fishermans wharf and all the piers are about 10 minutes walk away, as is the must see attraction of Alcatraz pick up and drop off point.
