However, if you are first time travelers to San Francisco I would not recommend as it is still a little ways away from Fisherman's Wharf, etc. We took the bus that dropped us off at Fisherman's Wharf and the Hotel Staff were very friendly in helping me break down my money into singles so we had exact fare.
