3. CTA bus and 'L' train is the best value for getting around (only $5.75 for day pass), taxi's are $10 each trip to North end of Michigan ave where shops and sights are.

5. If you are sightseeing, definitely take the hop on and off bus tour, you can buy tickets in the Hilton just up the street and get on and off there too, very good value.
