1. There is no actual complimentary breakfast - the brasserie in the hotel is ran by another company (a french guy actually), but they can charge directly your room.

The room they originally gave me was directly across from the elevator, and I askedfor a different room so I wouldn't be bothered by the noise, and they very cheerfully gave me a room on a higher floor, and upgraded me from a single to a double in the process and didn't charge me any more than the original smaller room.
