1. The views of the lake, Grant Park, and Museum Campus are amazing, the king size bed was very comfortable, and the room was very clean.

6. We were delighted when we arrived--the hotel is directly across from Grant Park, and the entire museum complex, along with the beautiful Lake Michigan shoreline was visibly from our room window.

7. The Essex is in a great location overlooking Grant Park and the Lake and within walking distance to Shedd Aquarium, Field Museum etc. Not far away either is city center, magnificent mile etc. Public transport options are quite close as well.
