Some examples: I requested a additional bath towel which was delivered while I was out but housekeeping took out all hand towels without replacing them--a call was necessary to get a hand towel; room service breakfast arrived without any eating utensils--it took 2 calls to get utensils delivered--the food had cooled by the time room service did what it should have done in the first place; and, I had a restaurant charge on my bills which I never incurred--although the front desk did remove it without question.

Sometimes it is hard to get your room cleaned - if you have the do not disturb sign up in the mornings and then go out in the afternoons, housekeeping may have already been in your part of the hall and will not come back and check - they will call your room and leave a message, which you will not receive if you are not in the room.
