2. But the things that I like about it over the sister hotels and even the Starwood hotels in the same area are:1) very good pool and workout area that was free (Starwood charges a fee);2) great, clean, updated, modern rooms;3) staff was always friendly;4) lobby was beautiful;5) food at club lounge is great; and6) free shoe shine service.

3. Two minor negatives: (1) the $50 valet fee, but that's to be expected, about on par with other hotels in the city, and a must considering the location at State and Wacker (2) the bartenders at the hotel lobby bar were out of their depth.

6. The Bad:- The area near the window was very cold so I had to crank up the heat - this caused parts of the room to boil and other parts to remain cold- $14.95 for Internet access is pricey - Hilton should be a leader in the large hotel chain market and dispense with these fees across all their hotel lines.
