1. However, the room I got happened to be able to receive the free wifi signal and hence, I manage to surf the internet from the comfort of my room.

3. The Starbucks downstair has free wifi which was really handy because The Empire charged $12.99 PER DEVICE for 24 hours of wifi and when I eventually caved in and paid for it, I only got 10 hours out of it before it expired.

4. Yes, the shower with one door is still strange, yes the standard rooms are very small, and yes you have to pay for WiFi but the convenient and lovely city location, fun over-the-top retro art-deco(?) design, Starbucks just steps one way and PJ Clarks the other way, this is a great choice for families, couples, and business.

5. I didn't pay much attention to remember little details like wifi or if there was a coffeemaker, (I do remember there wasn't a newspaper given to us, because the hotel we booked for the next night included it).

9. There is a Starbucks on the corner as well as several stores where you can get sandwiches, coffee, drinks, etc.Since the rooms were small, and there was free Wifi in the lobby, I spent quite a few nights working on the Mezzanine level, and enjoyed it immensely.
