3. We didn't want to pay the crazy money which a lot of New York hotels charge, we got a good deal here and for it we got great service - breakfast included, drinks and snacks reception every evening, a few places literally beside the hotel to eat in, and pleasant staff.

6. There is also a river esplanade that is large and she could run around there without me worrying about traffic, etc. We also live close enough to NYC that I know I will be back again soon, and can try other hotels and locations if I feel like spending more money.
