1. This hotel has only been open for a few weeks, but I can say it's done a good deal to repair my impression of the Hilton brand.

5. Ok, no place in Manhattan is a bargain so the best deal I could find was the Embassy Suites near Ground Zero and Financial District, just south of Tribeca for$300/night.

9. Oh - also - after we made our reservation, we happened to look at the rates the next week or so, and the rates had dropped so we re-made our reservations and got a really great deal.
