One thing - the rooms did not come with a mini frig, but when my sister in law asked about one (for all our leftovers one night) they quickly brought her one up, free of

Finally my flight back to the UK was not until 2100 and check out was supposed to be at 1200 but a really helpful lady on the front desk allowed me to stay until much later free of

We didn't want to pay the crazy money which a lot of New York hotels
charge
, we got a good deal here and for it we got great service - breakfast included, drinks and snacks reception every evening, a few places literally beside the hotel to eat in, and pleasant staff.

pancakes, toast, bagels, muffins etc. There are even polystyrene containers to help take food to your room (that reminds me, ask for a fridge on arrival, I did and it was delivered free of
charge
within 15 minutes).
