1. The bathroom was spotlessly clean but there was no shower or bath gel only bars of soap and large bottles of shampoo and conditioner that were bolted to the wall - reminiscent of a budget hotel rather than the four star establishment that The Onyx claims to be.

3. Our bathroom floor was black and the complimentary gowns hung up in the bathroom were black and dark brown leopard skin (not at all conducive to a feeling that they were clean and unused).

9. We recently stayed 2 nights over a weekend at the Onyx, and were pleased with the hotel amenities: bed was very comfy, room was not cramped (one expects relatively small rooms in the heart of the city), bathroom nicely appointed, and morning coffee in the lobby was a nice touch.
