1. The rooms are adequate in terms of size, bathrooms good and the rates at the hotel are generally reasonable, especially when compared to some other downtown hotels.

5. They had stayed at another Kimpton property in the past, and we found a good rate for the Onyx so we figured we would give it a shot.

6. The rooms are clean, decent sized, modern art deco type furnishings, in room safe, hairdryer, robes, nice wide sink, Gilcrest & Soames and Essential Elements toiletries, got very reasonable rate on Expedia for $169 a night (not including taxes).
