Finally, they had umbrellas in the
closet
, which really helped out with all the hurricane related rain.

The room itself was also very nice with funky animal print bathrobes in the
closet
, an extremely comfortable bed, and a nice view of some of the buildings in the city (we were on the 10th floor).
"The best customer service I've ever received at a hotel. "

Small amenities like an umbrella in the
closet
in case of rain let you know that Kimpton really DOES care.

The only other downside was our room was directly across from the janitor's
closet
, so when they were cleaning in the middle of the night, because the doors are so heavy we could hear them opening and closing the door.

They offered to take the dress, shoes, and purse from me days before our check in, store them for me, and arrange them in the
closet
of our room as I requested before we checked in.

She works in Boston so I planned on checking in to the room and placing the dress and shoes I bought for her to wear out that night into the
closet
of the room, then going to pick her up and bring her back to the room to find her surprise there.
