4. The staff was so friendly to our hyper dogs (from being cooped up in the car), gave them treats and even brought up dog bowls and bottled water free of charge.

5. There is a charge for internet access in your room, and my only real complaint is that they actually charge you to access the internet at their one business center computer terminal (which is very awkwardly located on the basement level, right in front of the elevator doors).

7. Without any warning or communication from the hotel staf, my credit card was billed for a 'deep-cleaning': charge for 'smoking' in a room at the Onyx, and the staff insinuated that we were liars when we said that neither one of us smoked.

8. Some hotels charge crazy fees, have size and breed restrictions that are competely unreasonable, and they treat you almost as if they are doing you a favor by letting you bring your pet along.
