1. I believe we paid a reasonable rate for the location even with paying for the upgrade, and clean rooms, I would recommend the Allerton and would consider this hotel again.

4. For the area (Magnificent Mile/Michigan Ave), I noticed it was reasonably priced compared to other stylish hotels, but only because we got an advanced booking discount (I think it was 15% off or something).

5. There are also high quality food stores such as Treasure Island in the area, and their deli section, salad bars, and hot food selections are surprisingly nice and fairly reasonable in cost.

8. reasonable walking distance from the subway system with 1 connection from airport (a 3 day pass was great deal for everything we needed and prevented high parking prices).
