1. The only negative would be the huge bags of towels and garbage that would be placed near the elevator making it difficult to navigate around given the smaller hallways.

6. I wouldn't expect the room to be big as this is a huge (1930's?) hotel, quite old fashioned, very old elevators, however the rooms are modernly furnished with an lcd tv, ipod dock, safe, iron & ironing board, mini bar.
