1. With the exception of the occasional fire engine or police siren, the room was amazingly and peacefully quiet.

We were forewarned from prior reviews: yes, the room was very small (not to mention the drawers were tiny, there's only about a foot around the end of the bed to get to the other side, had to reach over the toilet to turn on the shower--difficult for a pregnant little person like me), yes the elevators were small and SLOW (we even experienced the elevator competition with the flight attendants=even slower), yes the WiFi is NOT free except in the lounge.

5. The bathroom was small with no counter space for your toiletries except this shelf that was maybe 4' wide and when you try to grap one thing, the rest falls on the floor.

7. Things we did: Hancock building observatory (great), double-decker bus tour (good, would have been great except for getting caught in traffic due to a parade and something blocking Mich Ave and it was HOT), boat ride from the Chicago River out to the late to see Navy Peer fireworks (good), took Red line to Wrigleyville and was able to get $10 Cubs tickets from a guy on the street (at our own risk, but the tickets worked).

9. There was nothing spectacular about the room & it didn't seem very modern or contemporary except for the Ipod docking station that is too small for an Iphone.
