I was extremely worried after I booked last January THEN read the reviews - stayed in 704 and was surprised at the large main room, new carpet - obviously a very old hotel on it's third or fourth renovation - TV was very old but free internet hook-up the whole time - the bathroom was very small and if I was much bigger I couldn't have sat on the toliet as the door was in the way - stayed for five nights - the first two nights were very quiet but after that a tour moved in - our neighbors slammed their door at least 10 times a night - within walking distance to many attractions but remember that in NY york that means about 10 blocks.
