1. Our main criteria for hotels are safety and cleanliness and the Holiday Inn met both.

2. When in New York you don't need a fancy 5* room as your hardly ever in it, this hotel is perfect with cleanliness, price and overall satisfaction, definitely recommend it and would stay again.

3. Room cleanliness is probably the number 1 concern - while our room had no bedbugs and the sheets themselves were fairly clean, everything else in our recently refurbished room (including all walls and handles) needed a thorough scrubbing.

10. My only concern with cleanliness was a food tray (with food remnants) that was in the hallway from at least morning Saturday till it finally disappeared later Sunday morning.
