1. On the positive side, it is in a great location and the rooms are bigger than normal, just a shame about the unprofessional staff and heating.

If you are looking at doing tours or need information on a tour, DONT bother asking the dude at the tours counter in the motel as he is just rude and arrogant, the two times we tried to purchase a tour from him, he said that he was too busy (we were the only ones at the counter both times) my advice if you want a tour, speak to one of the many Graylines people positioned on just about every corner in NY, or go into the Graylines office, they have tours for everywhere and are pretty reasonable price wise.

3. Yes, it is a little tired and could do with an update, but it's clean, tidy, well positioned, serviced by polite and helpful staff and, for the price, a good option.

4. positives- Staff was friendly, but did not have an 'above and beyond' attitude- Location, location, location (Near Columbus Circle)- Affordable price for mid-town Manhattan- Rooms are sizable- Free in-room wifi internetNegatives- Hotel lobby was dated, and room was not well kept- Room was only cleaned in visible areas- Tube TV (I am a TV snob and expect all hotels, especially in NYC to have flat screen TVs)- No AC due to season- Mold on wall and ceiling of bathroom.
