2. Can't say this about management, as, when we arrived, it turned out that the only room available was on the smoking floor, despite our very clearly stated request for a nonsmoking room (I blame it on management as they're the ones who are responsible for communication with booking site).

7. The response by the manager stating we never asked for a smoking room and when offered one , chose a higher floor instead is totally false and very representative of the attitude we experienced at the time.

9. com so no refund of any kind and B) the problem was not the hotel's but 'outside' (the hotel did have water so this was news to us that it was the city's responsibility to provide hot water).
