1. - Internet access was chargeable (minimum $10 per 24 hours, cheaper if you bought more time) but I could not get my notebook to connect.

4. I like taking the subway everywhere in NY because it's MUCH cheaper than cabbing it, but the closest subway line was about a 15-minute walk away.

8. Another tip - if you are parking pay at the hotel when chcking out - it is a lot cheaper then paying the car park company.

9. We did not use the mini-bar in our room as if we wanted any drinks/snacks we found it was cheaper to buy them from one of the local deli`s and bring them back to the room.

10. they will arrange transport to the airport in one of their sedans which are more comfortable and cheaper than a yellow cab (tolls are included in the price but you still have to tip the driver).
